Paradise in Bolinao
Last May of 2016, my family from my mother side decided to
beat the heat by going on an adventure to Bolinao, Pangasinan. The reason we
chose to explore this place was because of the said beautiful spots you’ll be
able to see. When we were planning about the whole trip, we looked into some of
the resorts that we can stay in online and had hoped that when we walk in, they
wouldn’t be fully booked. So my family and I left Quezon City around 5 a.m. and
arrived at Lingayen, Pangasinan to fetch our relatives. Riding on a pick-up, me
and my cousins had fun talking about how excited we are. Then the time finally came
when we arrived at Bolinao. We directly went to check the resorts that we saw
on the internet, but unfortunately what we hoped for didn’t happen. All the of
the resorts that we liked were fully booked at that time, so we had no choice
but to pray and find a place to stay-in, otherwise we would just go home and
head to other destination. After a couple of hours we found this place that we
prayed would have a room available for us. Luckily, when we arrived there, one
family were already leaving, giving us a room to stay in. At first we inspected
everything, the amenities they offered, how big the room is, the sceneries from
the room.
After cheking out the hotel, we booked ourselves there, and rested
for a while. The room has 2 queen sized beds which were very comfortable and
has 2 4 pillows in each bed. The room also has a bathroom inside, though the
prolem is, the bathroom were filled with small crickets, so we requested to the
staff to clean the restroom and they did. The room also has a cabled flat
screen TV hanging on the wall to entertain us. As for the view, the window in
our room have a beautiful spot for you to see the ocean that seperates our
country to other ones. The hotel we stayed in was near the tourist spots so it
was very convenient for us to travel around the place. It was time for dinner,
we paid the staff for like 600 Php, and to my surprise they served us with
pancit, adobo, grilled bangus and rice, enough to feed us all 10 in the room.
We even had some leftovers for us to eat the next day. The food also tasted
great, you would really be surprised at how they can make sure that their
customer’s money is “sulit!”. When it
was already time to sleep we requested for an extra matress and another 4
pillows, and again I was surprised that they didn’t charged us for any
additional fees. Overall, our stay in this hotel even made our trip in Bolinao very
fun, and if ever given the chance to go back to this place again, I would stay
again in this hotel for the payment is “SULIT!”
