FRENCH BAKER




If you would be given the chance to buy delicious pastries for half a price, would you miss the chance? Most of us would say no, I mean who wouldn’t want to get the best value for their money. So last night, my family decided to go to SM North Edsa to do groceries,ate and shop for a while. To be honest, we spend overboard our estimated expenditures for that day. My mother said that we should go home, because if we stayed there for a little longer,it would cost us more! We were already by the exit, until we passed by “The French Baker”. There was this line outside the shop, at first I didn’t know what was going on. Then I remembered that they have this promo every 30 mins before the mall closes. They sell all their pastries at half of its original price. After a couple of seconds, we found ourselves in the line. Even though we already said that we would go home, we were attracted to the promo that you can buy all of their breads at 50%. I was already looking at the breads that I will be getting. The store has this policy wherein only two people from the line would be allowed inside until they are finished with buying. So for short, there was a thrill since we were at the back of the line. Every time somebody gets in to grab pastries, my mom and I would cross our fingers, hoping that they will not get the pizzas, cake, beef empanadas, and etc. Finally! It was already our turn to grab whatever we want. Then we got in line and guessed the price we would be paying. To our surprise, we only paid 350Php+. I can say that the waiting time and effort were SULIT!

Every after class, no matter what the time was, I always went to this famous dimsum house just along Dapitan street. Ever since my first year in college, I was always cautious of how much money I spend everyday, since my allowance is very limited. I never thought that I’d be the money-saving type of guy, because price never mattered that much to me before. As long I was able to enjoy myself in a meal, I was okay with that.  Until I got into college where every decision should be carefully made, even in terms of food. This is where I started to learn that price does matter instead of just the quality. A quality of something would even be more appreciated if it was also achieved in an affordable price. This is what Angkong is. Among all the other affordable food stalls/restaurants around the university, this is the place I always come back to. SM North Edsa Cinema

SM North has been the ideal mall for me since it’s the mall I have grown quite fond of. It’s a one stop shop, so whenever we go there, we do lots of things from doing groceries, dining at a restaurant, shopping clothes and sometimes we watch at their cinemas. I can say that the cinemas in SM North Edsa are really big, and through time they have expanded and added new cinemas to accommodate the demand of customers. Though as they expanded their cinemas, their prices also changed, the price I remember in 2014 was 190-200, but recently it has changed to 260-290. I think that their way of order-taking has a room for improvement. It is because there often are long lines whenever there are brand new movies in stall. Instead of people waiting in long lines to get their tickets, there should be more ticket counters so that this problem could be avoided. However, I agree with the way they segregated the lines to lessen the trouble and make it more organized by putting up a senior citiz

Karaoke Hub

My girlfriend and I have always been fond of going to karaoke booths or hang-out places. The Karaoke Hub located in SM North has been one of our go-to's whenever we were in the mood of spending quality through fun karaoke. Despite it having a slightly expensive price, the service and facilities were good by the staff and brought to the Karaoke room, The rooms were well air-conditioned and very neat. But aside from the facilities, the song were also up to date which is why it was not hard for us to choose the songs that we would like to sing. However, it feels like the time is too short for the payment that it costs per session
